What does a successful Silkscreen Operator do at Fiserv?
You will join the team at our Nashville location and receive training on our world class Silkscreen Press equipment, while maintaining high levels of confidentiality and efficiency to meet client Service Level Agreements. You will operate the silkscreen press to produce high-quality personalized credit, debit, and prepaid cards to ensure quality standards are met. You will prepare the screen print stencils, mix and load the ink, and interpret blueprints for the silk-screening processes.
What you will do:
- Operate Sakurai silkscreen press equipment to produce personalized credit/debit cards, ensuring adherence to job tickets for PVC stock and color specifications
- Prepare film, screens, and screen mounts for the silk-screening process, and conduct necessary adjustments on the press
- Conduct quality control checks for ink density, PVC position adjustments, and printing imperfections during each run to maintain high-quality standards
- Monitor and correct quality issues during press runs to minimize downtime and waste, documenting approved and defective units accurately in activity logs
- Maintain accurate records of completed work, complete required audit paperwork, and perform routine quality checks
- Conduct preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and report mechanical defects to supervisors, ensuring equipment is cleaned and well-maintained after completing work orders
What you will need to have:
- 1 year of machine operation experience in a fast-paced environment or equivalent military experience
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Proficient in computer use for data entry and performing basic math to support various job responsibilities
- Ability to stand 95% of your shift and safely lift up to 40 pounds without assistance
- Must be able to reach above shoulders, climb, squat, kneel and bend often
What would be great to have:
- 1 year of silkscreen experience in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in sheet-fed printing
- 1+ years of experience with Sakurai silkscreen press operations
Important info about this role:
- You will work an assigned schedule of: Monday-Friday, 2:00pm-10:30pm
- Eligible to earn a 10% shift differential for working 2nd shift
- Flexibility in schedule to work required overtime that includes weekends and holidays
